"HAPACH" company was founded in 1949 in Gedera by seven friends who survived the Holocaust, emigrated to Israel from the Czech Republic and founded a cooperative by the name of "HAPACH Gedera".
"HAPACH" Gedera factory manufactured tin products for construction and agriculture and during its first period it employed about 10 workers.
As years went by the factory evolved and began specializing in the poultry area and all its ramifications. New machines were acquired alongside special equipment that enabled the manufacturing of products. In 1973 the old factory was acquired by the late Mr. David Berger and his family and its entire contents was moved to Rehovot. Thus the factory evolved and expanded from year to year. In 1989 the subsidiary company "Agrotop" was established and its reputation was widely known due to its special structures for the poultry and industrial sectors. In a few years the company became a leader in its field in the country. In addition, the company exports its structures to various countries around the world.

In 1994 the company's stocks were issued in the Israeli stock market when the public held about 25% of the company's stocks. In 1997 the company's owners made an acquisition proposal and acquired back the public's stocks. In 2001 "HAPACH" company was acquired by Nachum Hankin. In order to maximize development we acquired a 21,000 square meters area in Timorim settlement near Kyriat Malachi. On this area the new and modern site of "HAPACH" and Agrotop company was founded. The site includes a production factory, warehouses, dining rooms and offices. The companies employ today approximately 150 workers that include administration, marketing engineering and production workers.
